With more than 80 Control Room projects built during 35 years of experience working with International Industry Leaders in the Oil & Gas sector, Spazio is widely regarded as the world leader in Control Centre Design.

Spazio recently completed the first Digital Command Center of the Oil & Gas sector for Adnoc Group, in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Spazio designed and built, in 2015, the first Gold LEED Certified Control Building in the world for Tupras Refinery in Izmir, Turkey -  a Sustainable Architectural solution in the Energy Sector.

Spazio also designed and developed the first automatic and programmable Lighting Systems for 24/7 Control Room work environments in the 1990s. Theoretical and experimental researches were done in collaboration with the Italian National Research Council and the Lighting Research Center at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Up State New York. The invention has patents in US and Europe and received multiple awards. This new concept of lighting takes into consideration not only visual but also biological human requirements, it is now successfully installed in all Control Buildings designed by Spazio worldwide.
